Southeast Pet is an independently owned pet supply distributor that has served independent pet specialty retailers since 1975. It runs its main office and distribution centre in Austell, Georgia, near Atlanta, with a second distribution centre in Lakeland, Florida, and covers Alabama, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee.
Retailers apply online to open an account. Each territory has its own sales representative, backed by inside sales staff, and orders can be placed through the representative, online through the shop for existing retailers, or by emailing purchase orders from a store’s POS system. A retailer portal carries promotions and vendor information, and new accounts get guidance on ordering, deliveries, returns and damage claims.
