About Pet Trade World

Owners and buyers at pet shops, grooming salons, boarding kennels, catteries, dog day care, equine yards and tack shops, aquatic retailers and the suppliers who serve them. It is a trade directory: we do not list pets for sale or consumer pet services.

Suppliers are organised into 55 product types across ten sectors: pet food and treats, pet accessories, general wholesalers and distributors, aquatics, reptiles and exotics, birds and small animals, equestrian, grooming, kennels, catteries and animal housing, and services for pet businesses. The trade show calendar covers the UK shows that matter to the pet trade, plus the main international fairs that UK buyers and exhibitors attend. Associations and show organisers have their own profiles.

We add a business when we can confirm what it does on its own website. Each listing shows its source and the date we last checked it, and we recheck listings at least once a year. Show dates come from the organiser. We do not copy other directories or member lists. Our editorial policy explains the process in full.

Every listing is free. Businesses can claim their listing to keep it up to date, and anyone can ask for a correction or removal without paying or signing in. Optional paid plans place a listing above free listings; they are always labelled, and how listings are ordered is published.
