Privacy and cookies
This notice explains how Pet Trade World handles information when you browse the site or contact us.
Who is responsible
Pet Trade World is operated by Watts Digital Consulting Ltd, company number 14574775, registered in England and Wales. Registered office: #3042 275 New North Road, London, England, N1 7AA. For a privacy question or request, use our contact form and mark your message “Privacy”.
Messages
The contact form collects your name, email address, business details and message, plus the submission time, page address, IP address and browser information. Entries are stored in the website’s database and a copy is emailed to our mailbox so we can reply. Please do not send passwords, payment details or sensitive information.
Why we use information
We use enquiries to reply, to add or correct directory listings you ask about, and to keep a record of the matter. This is in our legitimate interest in running the directory and answering requests. A contact enquiry is not a newsletter subscription.
Analytics and cookies
The site uses Google Analytics 4 to understand page use, visits and device and browser patterns. Analytics is on when you first visit. Choose “Reject analytics” in the cookie notice to turn it off, or use “Manage cookies” to change your choice later. The site stores your cookie choice, and Google Analytics uses browser identifiers such as _ga cookies when enabled. The analytics setup sends page paths rather than URL query strings, and Google Signals and advertising personalisation are switched off.
Service providers
The website uses managed hosting administered through xCloud, Cloudflare for web delivery and security, Emailit to send notification emails and Google Workspace for our mailbox. Google provides Analytics. These providers operate internationally, so processing may take place outside the UK, including in Europe and the United States.
Storage and your rights
Form entries are kept until they are no longer needed to deal with the matter. Depending on the circumstances you can ask for access, correction, deletion or restriction of your personal information, or object to how we use it, using the contact form. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
