Eastern Distributors is a family-owned pet food and stockfeed wholesaler run by the Addamo family, with distribution centres in Dandenong South, Victoria, and Carole Park, Queensland. It lists more than 12,500 branded product lines, including fresh and frozen food, accessories and grooming products for dogs, cats, horses, poultry, birds, small animals, livestock, reptiles and fish.
It sells business to business only, to independent and corporate pet, produce, vet and grooming stores across Australia, and says it supplies more than 2,000 of them. New customers apply through a customer enquiry form and then order online, supported by an in-field sales team and the company’s own delivery fleet. Brands can also apply to become suppliers, and the company runs an annual industry trade night.
