Kennel Connection says new clients get free data transfer, no setup fees and personalized onboarding with staff training. You can reach its support team by phone, chat, email and remote session.

Kennel Connection is a pet care management software company based in Moorpark, California, and listed in our United States hub and our booking and business software section. The company says it started in 1994 with a DOS-based program and launched a Windows version in 1996. It now offers Kennel Connection Cloud as well as a hybrid setup that it says works offline. It describes itself as privately owned and as a 100GROUP company powering more than 5,500 pet care locations across the U.S. It says its software suits anything from a small local business to a multi-location franchise.

Features for boarding kennels

Its dog boarding software page lists:

Features for grooming salons

For grooming, the company lists recurring appointments (for example every 8 weeks for a year) and commission rates set for each employee by service. You can set pricing and groom length by breed or weight and override them for individual pets. You can also cap the number of grooms, baths and nail services per day or per employee, and keep groom notes with each pet’s history and past prices.

Client portal, texting and payments

Kennel Connection says clients can use its client portal and online booking to request and manage appointments and add extra services, which it says cuts down phone calls. A built-in design wizard with a live preview lets you change the fonts, colors, logo and header image on the Online Reservations page and add up to three links and promo cards. It also lists unlimited two-way SMS with automated appointment reminders and review requests, Text-To-Pay, digital contracts, in-house credit card processing and undo buttons.

Partner services

In October 2026 the company announced a referral partnership with Cantara Pet Advisors, which offers sale readiness consulting and business sale advisory to pet care facility owners who are thinking about selling. Kennel Connection says no referral fees change hands between the two companies. Its website does not publish prices, and demos are booked on request.
