The Pet Advocacy Network describes itself as the policy voice of the responsible pet care community in the United States. Formerly known as PIJAC, it now uses the petadvocacy.org website, and the old pijac.org address redirects there.
It works on local, state, federal and international policy affecting pet businesses and owners, with committees covering aquatics, dogs, reptiles and amphibians, small animals and zoonoses. Programmes include Habitattitude, Bd Free Phibs and avian certification, plus care guides and pet health alerts.
