J&K Aquatics Ltd was formed in 1984 by Paul and Judy James, starting as a part-time venture with a small shop in Wellington, Somerset. It has grown into a large wholesaler of aquatic and reptile products, dry goods and fish, serving retailers across the UK and the Republic of Ireland.
Since 2013 it has operated from a 2.3-acre site at North Petherton, near junction 24 of the M5, with a warehouse, fish house and offices. Its range covers core brands, commodity lines under its own Betta labels and specialist imports.
