Dog-ON-It-Parks

Dog-ON-It-Parks makes its dog agility equipment near Seattle and backs its aluminum and HDPE agility pieces with a lifetime warranty against rust, plus five years on workmanship and materials; typical lead times on its product pages run two to four weeks.

What daycares and boarding facilities get

If you need play equipment you can move, the company points daycares and boarding kennels to three portable lines, Portable Paws, NatureDog and EcoDog, which stand free indoors or stake into the ground outside. The Canine Crawl Tunnel, for example, is a 36 inch roto-molded tunnel listed at $765 with a two to four week lead time and sold for boarding facilities as well as parks, and NatureDog pieces are molded from real boulders and stumps, from $375 for a small stepping stone. Walking surfaces carry the company’s PawsGrip polyurea coating for grip in snow, mud and ice, and it says its seesaws are weighted so one end always rests on the ground, to avoid scaring shy dogs.

Ordering, design help and pricing

• Free design help from its own team, including 2D and 3D layouts, instead of a paid consultant
• Prices shown online, flat rate shipping on many items, and freight quoted for approval on larger pieces
• A Sourcewell contract (101625-DOG) giving public agencies, schools and nonprofits 5% off list, plus 2% more on orders of $50,000 or more
• A dealer network in the US and abroad, with exports to Australia, Canada, Guam, Hong Kong, Abu Dhabi and Singapore

Range beyond agility

It also sells dog park packages and kits, benches and tables, fire hydrants, drinking fountains and water features, pet waste stations and receptacles, shade structures, grooming stations and surfacing, including engineered wood fiber, turf and modular Turf Pods for rooftops and hard floors. Apart from some waste stations from China and the UK and fountains from Mexico, it says its products are made in the US, using recycled plastic and aluminum where practical.

Track record

Founded in 2009 in Everett, Washington, the company combines a veterinary assistant’s 35 years with dogs and 25 years of public playground design. It says its equipment is in thousands of parks in the US and more than 10 other countries, and its gallery includes the indoor Hartford 21 Bark Lounge in Connecticut, Colonial Grand Apartments in Lake Mary, Florida, and its third park in Abu Dhabi. It is a member of NRPA, WRPA, WMFHA and NAA.
