The American Pet Products Association is a membership organisation for the pet industry, founded in 1958 with pet product manufacturers at its core. Its members now include manufacturers, independent pet retailers, distributors and service providers.
APPA runs national and regional industry events, including Global Pet Expo and The Pet Summit, and publishes pet industry research such as the National Pet Owners Survey. It is based in Stamford, Connecticut.
