Prevue Pet Products is a Chicago-based maker of pet housing and accessories that dates its history to 1869. Its catalogue of more than 800 products includes bird cages and stands, playtop cages, small animal homes, soft hideaways for small pets and cats, chew toys and mineral blocks, and it publishes ready-made bird and small animal planograms for store displays.
Retailers apply through a Become a Dealer form, which accepts applications from stores, stores with websites, online retailers and animal rescues and asks for trade references and delivery details such as loading dock access. The company runs a MAP policy and an online reseller policy for authorised sellers, and lists membership of several US pet industry trade associations.
