Segrest Farms is a wholesale supplier of ornamental fish based in Gibsonton, Florida, trading since 1961. Its range covers freshwater tropical and coldwater fish, saltwater specimens, aquatic plants and reptiles, sourced from Florida fish farms, smaller breeders in Europe and wild collection, including the Amazon.
The company deals only with licensed pet retailers and does not sell to hobbyists, whom it directs to its store locator instead. It also lists public aquariums and research institutions among its customers. Retailers apply for an account through a PIN request form, are given their own sales representative and can order online at any time. The company supports aquaculture and sustainable wild collection, and donates part of each tank-raised marine fish sale to marine aquaculture research.
