Pettex is a Blackburn manufacturer and supplier of pet products, best known for its range of cat litter. Founded in 1959 as a family business serving local pet shops, it is now part of the Pets Choice group.
It sells to the trade rather than direct in small quantities: pet and hardware wholesalers, garden centres, the veterinary sector, grocery cash and carries and large multiple retailers. Its litter range covers grey clumping clay, wood pellet and silica crystal litters, with pack sizes and outer quantities listed for each product, and it offers private label production.
