PetSavers offer FREE Health Checks for dogs at new BBC Countryfile Live event

PThe charity PetSavers will be offering free health checks for dogs on their stand at the new BBC Countryfile Live event which is taking place at Blenheim Palace, Oxfordshire from Thursday 4th to Sunday 7th August.
At the show PetSavers will be promoting their long history of funding studies into improving the diagnosis and treatment of serious illnesses and diseases that affect companion animals. Over the past 40 years the charity has funded research into illnesses such as kidney disease, anaemia, leukaemia, cancer and heart disease to name just a few.
To help raise the profile of the charity, PetSavers will be hosting a Veterinary Field Clinic where visitors can get free health checks for their dogs by qualified vets who volunteer their time free of charge for the charity. Owners will be able to ask advice on any aspect of their pet’s health and get their animal’s weight checked, ears cleaned, nails clipped or have their blood pressure taken.
Visitors to the stand will also be able to enter a free prize draw to win an iPad Air 2 and children will be able to have fun filling bottles with crazy sand (£2 per bottle filled). There will also be a range of merchandise on sale including cat and dog print scarves, dog squeaky balls, stickers plus cookery books and Christmas cards.
All donations made at the BBC Countryfile Live show will help support PetSavers continue its vital work helping more animals to live longer, healthier lives.
