It’s about the Irresponsible Breeders and the irresponsible owners that have not got a clue how to raise a dog, any dog, including Staffies, Also the signalization of the media targeting Staffies, through a stereotype of the few idiots who are using Staffie as a status symbol. Train and abuse them to be aggressive, and inevitably forcing our beloved Staffie to fight or be used as a weapon. Which in turn WILL obviously make any animal have behavioural problems. This is what this group is primarily targeting against. Including to try and remove the stigma associated with being a Staffie owner. As well as to inform and educate that our beloved Staffie does have a loving, loyal, family orientated side that the media does not show and the general public are unaware of. Far too many people have jumped on the bbc saying it was a biased programme etc, but I found it very interesting and true to life. I live in Birmingham and know oh to well the way these poor breeds are treated just for protection and status because of what dealings the owners are involved in. There are certain areas where I live I wouldnt go never mind walk my dogs, because of the intimidation from gangs and their trained aggressive dogs. I know 'normal' decent people with bull dog breeds weren't shown, but its the 'scum' of this country that create a dangerous dog like this, so this is where the work needs to be aimed.
